Rules of the Game!
1.Contestants must be from 13-19 years old on the day of auditions, May 8, June 12, or July 10,       2008.

2.Contestants must be Shelby County Residents.

3.     Cost to enter is $12.00 per person (add $1.00 if registering on line with credit card)

4.     Contestants may enter more than one audition in May, June or July, but must pay the $12.00             entry fee for each session entered.

5.Auditions in May, June and July are limited to the first 50 registered.  Day of registration will           be accepted if space is still available.

6.     There is no registration fee for semi-finals and finals occurring after the last July 10th                 Intelliplex audition.

7.     Contestants must sign and return all waivers and agreements prior to their scheduled audition.

8.     Contestants must agree to have their picture and first name printed and posted on the                     www.energy2action.com website and other reasonable promotional materials.  Contestants under           18 must have parental consent.

9.      Finalists and winners pictures and first names will be posted on the Energy2Action website.

10.     Auditions on May 8, June 12, and July 10th are ACAPPELLA ONLY - no music.

11.     Auditions on May 8, June 12, and July 10th are limited to 1 and 1/2 minutes.

12.     Music provided is allowed for Semi-finals on August 7th and all rounds thereafter.  Music must           be in CD form and instrumental ONLY (no voices). 
        NO KAROAKE.  Instruments are also allowed but must be hand held.  No drums. No pianos,              drums or keyboards.

13. Contestants may NOT have been under contract with a recording company at anytime in the               past.

14.      Judges are chosen by the Energy2Action managers.  Three judges will be provided for each               round.  Judges may serve more than one round however the same combination of judges will not           be used for any round.  Judges will not comment to the contestants as to the quality of their            performance, however may ask questions of the contestants regarding their personal information           (name, experience, shcool, age, etc.) Judges may instruct the contestants to stop performing             or to repeat a performance.  JUDGES MAY NOT BE APPROACHED BY THE CONTESTANTS,              THEIR RELATIVES, OR FRIENDS AT ANY TIME.  Comments to the Judges or contact with              the Judges by the contestants and their supporters will be grounds for the dismissal of the               contestant from the competition.

15.       Judges will vote to accept or reject each contestant based on the judges assessment of the              contestants overall ability to entertain, perform and execute their performance.  Three Judges           will be provided for each round and majority vote rules.
