WELCOME TO SHELBYIDOL 2010!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Next up! Final Night at The Strand on Saturday, July 17th, at 7:00 p.m.
Singers: At the final show all the singers (6 open division and 2 Juniors) sing two GROUP numbers. There is a mandatory practice at The Strand at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13th to rehearse the group numbers. Please be there on time so we don't have to wait on you. It shouldn't take too long - maybe a 1/2 hour - 45 minutes.
Saturday, July 17th, make sure you are at The Strand by 6:00 p.m. Show will start at 7:00 p.m.
You will be using music and singing TWO SONGS. Juniors only sing ONE SONG. Your music should be in CD Format, clearly marked with your name and what tract you are using (if there is more than one). PRE-TEST your CD! Make sure it works! Please e-mail me your song choices and I will list them below. We don't want anyone duplicating a song. First come first serve on the song choices.
Tickets for the show are $5 each. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Mickeys (call ahead and make sure they have them). Or tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the performance.
The Judges will pick one winner and one junior winner at the show on July 17th.
Note that Smashed Productions was unable to provide the 5 hours of free recording time to the winner this year so we will be replacing that prize with a $50 gift certificate to Dick's Sporting Goods and (thanks to Pierce Tree Service) another $50 gift certificate to an undisclosed location (we're still deciding...). The $100 cash prize will also be provided as well as the photo shoot.
