Hi Runners! We had 7 show up on Memorial Day Monday. It was nearly 90 degrees! I’m not sure I’m ready for that just yet. Thankfully it was a little overcast but still you just can’t escape the heat when it gets 80+! We had 9 runners on Wednesday evening. It was breezy, and the skies looked threatening in certain directions but nothing came of them. We had 11 runners on Saturday and a beautiful morning for running. Tammy arrived in a new car! Lisa showed up for her second point of the year. It was good to see her. Amy arrived with a 4-legged friend. Mike says he has finally found someone he might be able to beat in a 5K. ha! Energy2Action went ahead with their new event on Sunday: 4,3,2,1 Race. The weather was perfect for racing.  

Training: Monday at Parks Department at 5:00PM. Wednesday at Blue River Park at 5:00PM. Saturday on circle at 7:30AM.  

Racing:  I think everything is still virtual or has been postponed to the fall at this point. The Waldron July 4th race IS happening on July 4. Race begins at 8:00AM. You can find the entry form on the Mohawk Trail Run Facebook Page. I’ll also have sign up forms at group runs this week. Early entry deadline is June 19.
