Race Day Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. 





Awards:  The top 3 female and male overall finishers will receive trophies.  Age group awards in 10 year increments.  FATHER TIME will present awards to the three YOUNGEST and three ELDEST participants.  To be eligible for the youngest and eldest awards participants must complete the course without assistance (i.e. no strollers or wheel chairs unless self propelled).  All finishers will receive a 2020"First Race of the Year" finisher medal!

Champagne Toast:  Enjoy a pre-race champagne toast on the court house steps before the race! Non-alcohol champagne for the youngsters!  

Course: Nice in town course on paved roads. The finish line is located INSIDE CITY HALL - therefore participants will have to run/walk up the City Hall steps, through the doors (held open for you by volunteers) and cross the finish line inside!  Please - NO DOGS OR STROLLERS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE DURING THE EVENT.

Inclement Weather:  This is a rain/snow/sleet or shine event!  If weather is severe then the course may be shortened or the race may be delayed or cancelled.  Our indoor finish may be altered if necessary for safety reasons (i.e. excessive ice on the steps, etc.)  We do offer indoor registration and indoor awards located next to the finish line.  It is unlikley we would cancel the race however, if so, we would attempt to do so at least 6 hours prior to the event and that information would be posted on line.  

Results:  This is a timed event and an accurately measured course.  Full results and pictures will be posted on the website.

Walkers are started with the runners and timed with them as well.
